Free Acupuncture Treatment for U.S. Veterans

No appointments or credentials are necessary. Qualifying service members should arrive at the church between 6 and 7 p.m. for a treatment that lasts about 30 minutes.
The Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C., is researching acupuncture’s use in treating PTSD in returning veterans. The military has also started using acupuncture in the battlefield to reduce pain.
The Atlanta Veterans’ Acupuncture Clinic, an independent and locally run clinic, is dedicated to the free treatment of stress suffered by combat veterans and their families. It is part of a national network of independent, locally-based free clinics established with the help of Acupuncturists Without Borders. Treatments are always free; contributions help it serve the community
