Georgia Cyclists Ride to the Capitol

Georgia cyclists will hop on their hogs March 24 for the 10th annual Georgia Ride to the Capitol. Co-sponsored by the Metro Atlanta Mayors Association, the ride supports the development of a regional bicycle network of both on-road facilities, multi-use trails and cycling connections near major facilities, activity centers and schools.
Commissioner Fred Boykin and other city staffers will join the cyclists for the slow, five-mile Decatur leg of the ride, leaving from the north parking lot of the East Lake MARTA station.
Participation is free. Preregister (recommended) to receive a free reflective leg band at GeorgiaRidesToTheCapitol.org. For more information, visit GeorgiaBikes.org for more information.
