Yogi Douglas Johnson's Cosmic Kirtan Band combines this practice with improvisation and blues, rock, folk, and funk music inspired by the '60s and '70s psychedelic movement to create a mind-expanding, out-of-this-world experience. The renowned yoga teacher and lifelong musician Douglas Johnson, E-RYT 500, will lead this Kirtan. With a rich background in Kirtan, having studied and shared the stage with David Durga Das Newman, Jai Uttal, Sean Johnson & The Wild Lotus Band, and Mirabai Moon, Douglas brings a wealth of experience. He has also expanded his sonic yoga knowledge by studying Vedic mantras with internationally acclaimed author and teacher Russill Paul. Notably, he has recently been certified in Gong Yoga Therapy by Yogi Mehtab Benton (Kundalini Yoga), further enhancing his expertise.
