Located just two short hours from Atlanta, the Rogers Family Farm has opened its 100-acre property as a retreat center venue in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Formerly private property, the location is now available to rent for yoga or meditation retreats, corporate events, family get-togethers or any kind of getaway that’s not too far away from Atlanta.

The Rogers family has owned the property for more than 50 years, during which time they’ve modified it to better suit their lifestyle. The facilities include 10 luxury cottages, a hot yoga studio, meditation center pond, stables and hiking trails, all only five minutes away from the shops and restaurants in Blairsville, Georgia.

The Rogers Family Farm is located at 274 BKR Lane in Blairsville. For more information, visit TheRogersFarm.com or email rogersfarmretreat@gmail.com.

Maroon Peak Retreat

Nestled on three acres in Stone Mountain, The Maroon Peak Retreat & Event Center (MPR) is available to book retreats, personal getaways, workshops, parties, ceremonies and rites of passage. It also offers event decorations and specialized menus from top catering restaurants that accommodate a variety of dietary needs.

The venue features African, Caribbean and African American artwork and includes a large, open great room and three large master bedrooms with full baths.

The center’s vision is to provide a “premier gathering place for purposeful programs and to develop long-lasting community partnerships,” according to its website.

The two founders have remarkable careers of their own. Dr. Imani Ma’at, M.C.P., M.Ed.. is creator of Healthy Haiku Workshops and a retired health scientist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She is currently the Manager of Inmate Educational Services for the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office and Jail.
