Alive! Festival in Suwanee to benefit Project Green

The Alive! Festival, a family-friendly community event featuring live music, food, local vendors, an artist market and a family fun zone will be held October 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Suwanee Town Center Park, 330 Town Center Ave., in Suwanee.

The festival will feature Taste of BBQ!—a way for vendors to share their BBQ delights with the public. Tickets for BBQ samples will be sold on site, and samples will be given in exchange for one to five tickets. Full plates of BBQ will also be for sale.

Live music and entertainment provided by All Right Now Entertainment will feature local artists including Danny Mac & Co., Vintage Vixens, The Andrew Black Band, Jeff Robinson Band, Whiskey Run, Nic Sanders and Echoes of Imagination.

The community festival benefits Project Green, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Atlanta. Its mission is to invest in “a Green tomorrow.” Project Green is developing an annual “Back to Basics” summer camp program for underserved children and teenagers, including those in foster care. Project Green also works to protect green spaces in the Southeast.

Admission is free. For more information, see AliveExpo.com/Alive_Festival.php.
