Pinners’ Conference to Offer Fun, Health

Atlanta’s Pinners Conference & Expo, to be held April 27 and 28, will feature natural mind-body solutions as well as crafting classes with users of Pinterest in mind.

Experts will teach more than 100 classes in nine categories, including Living & Learning, Health & Fitness, and Beauty & Fashion. Last year’s conference in Atlanta was the first, and it drew over 10,000 attendees, according to the event’s press release.

This year Kristen Hewitt will present “Living Through the Lens of Gratitude,” in which participants will talk about how shifting their hearts and minds to experience life through gratitude helps produce abundance. The interactive “Intention Setting & Vision Board Workshop” by Sarah Sewell will assist participants in goal visualization and realization by teaching how to “manifest with intent.”

For those interested in more material natural solutions, “Mason Jar Nutrition: Quick, Healthy Meals in Mason Jars” by Luisa Hammett MS, RD, LD will teach attendees to make quick, healthy meals in mason jars. Alyssa Cherry, a self-taught soap maker who “is addicted to natural beauty and all things sustainable,” will teach about the benefits of using natural ingredients in “Make Customized Bath Salts.”
