Alive! Expo, a natural health and wellness event, will be held the weekend of April 21 to 22 at the Cobb Galleria.

The expo, which bills itself as “The Natural Products & Green Living” consumer event, will feature scores of vendors in the health, wellness and sustainability sectors, plus 13 lectures and 10 cooking demonstrations.

Speakers will include wellness- radio personality Robert Scott Bell, Marge Roberts of Newton Homeo- pathics, Brenda Cobb of Living Foods Institute and Chef Ahki of Delicious Indigenous Foods. Sevananda Natural Foods Market is sponsoring Healthy Kitchen, the cooking demonstration stage, which will run hourly demos starting at noon each day.

In addition, Cigna will offer free health screenings, providing results on site.

April’s expo will be the 14th annual in Atlanta, says Patrycja Towns, founder and president of Alive! Expo. Cobb Galleria hosted the inaugural expo, but for many years Towns held the event at the Georgia World Congress Center. It returned to Cobb Galleria in 2016 because of construction of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, and it has attracted about 10,000 attendees ever since.

Alive! Expo will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Cobb Galleria, Two Galleria Parkway. Tickets are $6 in advance at AliveExpo.com or $10 day of show. A limited number of free tickets are available by “liking” Natural Awakenings Atlanta at FaceBook.com/naAtlanta.
