Wizards of Raw Conjure Up Healthy Food Fest

Tassili’s, a raw vegan café, traditionally hosts the WWR the first Saturday of June. These year’s theme is Your Health is Your Wealth – Food & Finances.
“Take control of your health and say, ‘My life matters to me, my family’s lives matter to me and we can do something about it—now.’ Ultimately, we are what we eat. If we want optimal health, we must eat optimally,” says owner Tassili Ma’at. “If you want to know how, ‘ease on down the road to the Wonderful Wizards of Raw!”
WWR presents a variety of products, fresh raw cuisines from vending chefs and information about the raw food movement.
Speakers include Abundance Child of Drop Squad Kitchen discussing Food & Politics, Kanise of Georgia Roots Urban Farm with Monetizing Food, Beatrice of The Honey Pot talks about Food & Health and Ifini Sheppard of Sevananda Natural Foods Co-Op discusses Shopping Healthy on a Budget.
The 2017 WWR chefs are Zema Love Fire, Chef Beeee, Carla DeRosa, Queen Haylene, Queen Vida Amuah, Chef Saa, Dr. Akua Gray, ND, Carolyn Renee Chef Refreshness and Dawud Jahi.
