Grief and Loss Retreat for Reflection and Renewal
A unique experiential event, Grief as a Sacred Path to Renew and Rebirth Retreat, will take place from November 11 to 13 at Dahlonega Spa, created by two pioneers in grief healing, Joyce Dillon, RN, MN, and Melody LeBaron.
Participants will relax and commune with nature on 72 acres of open meadows and woods in the North Georgia mountains. They will co-create a safe, compassionate space for deep emotional release and healing; integrate and transform buried emotions like shame, anger and rage, which often manifest as depression and anxiety; use music and movement to release stuck emotional issues; and learn powerful tools of ritual, painting and journaling to use to process grief.
Dillon has studied loss and grief with Wise Elder Dr. Malidoma Some, been mentored by loss and grief author and teacher Francis Weller, and has trained in rapid resolution therapy. LeBaron is a feng shui consultant, space and personal clearing practitioner and author of the book Creating Sacred Space for Death: How to Prepare Yourself and the Environment when a Loved One is Dying.
Cost is $447. Location: Dahlonega, GA. For more information, call 404-881-1322 or visit JoyceDillon.com/griefandlossretreat.
