Natural Awakenings Atlanta

2016 Atlanta Earth Day Events

As we celebrate another Earth Day (EarthDay.org), those that share the goals and philosophy of a cleaner environment and now taking action on climate change, as well, can be proud of the global reach and influence this annual day of action has spawned.

Earth Day is today the largest secular observance in the world, celebrated by more than a billion people every year as a day of action to change human behavior and bring about policy changes in governments everywhere.

For all generation, trendy labels notwithstanding, Earth Day is a movement spanning all genders, faiths, nationalities and socioeconomic status—a truly natural phenomenon—because Mother Earth shelters and provides for us all, regardless of who we are or how we may treat her.

We hope you will consider taking action on Earth Day 2016, no matter however big or small; public or private, to help rescue our environment and climate and preserve the vast treasures and wonders of our Earth.
