Farmers, health advocates, gardeners and health-conscious families will gather to learn, network, feast and champion organic foods and farms at the 18th annual Georgia Organics (GO) Conference and Expo February 20 and 21, at the Classic Center, in Athens.

The GO conference is one of the largest sustainable agricultural expos in the South, with eight farm tours, 14 in-depth workshops, 36 educational seminars, a Better Farms, Better Flavors Expo and the famous Farmers’ Feast. Hugh Acheson, chef, author and good-food rabble-rouser will give the keynote address.

On February 19, the Georgia Farm to School and Preschool Summit will kick off with discussions on how to use the garden as a classroom, cooking with kids, integrating farm to school and engaging community.
