Cleansing and Detoxing Demystified
Detoxification is a necessary component of maintaining a healthy body in today’s world. The pollutants that are present in the air, water, food and our environment can cause the body to become depleted of energy and get sick. To make matters worse, it is difficult for a body to heal from illness or injury when it is still full of toxins.
There are many different ways to detox. Eating green vegetables, drinking green juices like celery, cucumber and kale, and staying well hydrated with alkaline water are high on the list of detox methods because of the wonderful nutrients they provide. The juices from these green vegetables and alkaline water can help cleanse the blood and pull out heavy metals, chemicals and toxins.
The local supermarket shelves are also full of detoxification products in the form of herbs and superfoods. These can be used to help speed up the detoxification process. Cilantro and chlorella together, for example, are excellent at removing traces of mercury in the body.
Many therapies offered by holistic practitioners can also further the process of detoxification and bring about ideal health. Colonics clears out the colon by removing impacted waste and mucoid plaque, thus helping the body absorb more nutrients from food. Enemas, which can easily be done at home, are also an effective way to help cleanse and detox the colon. Use pure filtered water and follow up with a wheatgrass implant for the most intense detoxification.
Biomagnetic water therapy, also known as footbath detox, can help balance the body and relieve many symptoms in a variety of ailments. This procedure is best done using a copper vessel filled with filtered water, a small amount of sea salt solution and an electrical orb placed in the water. This produces a complex electromagnetic waveform that resonates throughout the water and interacts in a way that is synergistic with the bioelectric state of the body.

Qi machine therapy is a powerful treatment that drains the lymphatic system, oxygenates the body, boosts the immune system and helps alleviate anxiety, depression and constipation as it facilitates a deep detoxification.
Experience has shown that it is often best to combine a series of detox treatments for best results. It also takes time for the body to complete the process of detoxing. Healthy Detox Juice
1 cup celery juice
1 cup cucumber juice
1 cup kale juice
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp ginger juice
Dash cayenne pepper
Use all organic vegetables. Drink 36 ounces of this detox juice, followed by 36 ounces of alkaline water over an eight-hour span. A good way to do this is to drink one glass of juice and then in 30 minutes drink one glass of water. This will help flush out toxins and nourish the body.
