Farm Sanctuary President and co-founder Gene Baur will join the Atlanta Walk for Farm Animals October 5 at Piedmont Park, at the WPA Shelter. The Walk for Farm Animals raises vital funds for Farm Sanctuary’s lifesaving work and brings together thousands of people to change hearts and minds about farm animals.

Event check-in is at 10 a.m., rain or shine, followed by yoga stretch at 10:30 a.m. with Rachel Peavy. The 2.2-mile walk begins at 11 a.m., followed by a community celebration with a live music performance by New Terminus. Dogs are welcome.
