Atlanta to Host Zero Waste Conference

The U.S. Zero Waste Business Council Conference, Creating Value Through Zero Waste, will meet May 7 and 8 at the Westin Buckhead, in Atlanta. Laura Turner Seydel is the keynote speaker. Hosted by Sustainable Atlanta, and Elemental Impact (Ei), the conference brings together local sustainable organizations including conference partners Southeast Green, Captain Planet Foundation, Southeast Recycling Development Council, the Georgia Recycling Coalition, LifeCycle Building Center and the Atlanta chapter of the Green Meeting Industry Council.

The program, designed to educate on the role zero waste plays in creating vibrant local economies and healthy bottom lines, delves into topics of interest for the zero waste business community or those taking inaugural steps into freedom from landfills.
