First Southeastern Sustainable Livestock Conference
The inaugural Southeastern Sustainable Livestock Conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., April 26, at the Gwinnet Center, in Duluth, Georgia, to build a strong network for humane livestock farmers and increase the market for sustainable meat through improved taste and quality.
The conference program includes workshops and seminars covering best practices for pasture raising and humane handling of livestock, marketing and business practices, sourcing and implementing humane processing facilities and mobile processing unit shares.
