Breast Thermography Helps Women Prevent Breast Cancer

Many women feel helpless when they are diagnosed with breast cancer and wonder if alternative healing modalities are available. If a woman has a family history of breast cancer, she may feel it’s just a matter of time before she develops it herself. Here are some essentials for preventing and healing breast cancer naturally.

Let food be medicine—Eat raw and organic. Foods that have a scientific basis for fighting breast cancer include green and cruciferous vegetables, broccoli sprouts, kelp, and green tea. Alkalizing the body, juicing, consuming green smoothies, and use only organic, cold-pressed oils such as olive, sunflower, or coconut oils. Heavy red meat, sugar and alcohol consumption increase the risk of breast cancer.

Reduce toxic exposure—Be aware of chemicals and toxins in everyday household items.  According to the University of Columbia School of Public health, “Ninety-five percent of all cancer is due to diet and the accumulation of toxins.” Most commercial cosmetics contain carcinogens such as parabens and phthalates. Most underarm deodorants contain aluminum, which is toxic and carcinogenic. Shop for natural cosmetics in local health food stores. For many household tasks, simple baking soda and vinegar work as well if not better than more toxic alternatives.

Balance hormones—This is essential to maintaining a healthy body and breasts. The estrogen quotient, or EQ, is a great place to start to learn how to balance hormones. The EQ helps you to understand the dynamics of the three major estrogens in the body. Testing may include salivary hormones, Vitamin D and iodine levels.

Optimize vitamin D—Vitamin D influences virtually every cell in the body and is one of nature’s most potent cancer fighters. This is one of the most important steps that can be taken to protect against cancer.

Heal emotional wounds and reduce stress—Emotion is energy in motion. Good energy contributes to good health. A Swedish study found that women who reported being under stress had twice the risk of developing breast cancer as women that managed to stay cool, calm and collected. This twofold risk held up even when they took into account other factors that might explain the increased risk for breast cancer, such as family history of cancer, alcohol use, body weight and smoking. Managing stress is essential in reducing risks.

Embrace biological dentistry—The health of teeth can directly affect the health of the body. Our teeth are an intricate part of the body, not a separate entity that can be drilled, poked and stuffed with toxic poisons without having an impact on the rest of the body.

Repair with therapeutic plants and herbs—Hundreds of herbs exist that have medicinal qualities to nourish, strengthen and heal the body. For example, research has shown that curcumin, the active ingredient in the common spice turmeric, has properties that reduce the expression of deadly molecules within cancer cells and can potentially slow the spread of breast cancer.

Be proactive with early detection—Non-invasive forms of breast testing such as digital infrared thermal imaging, aka thermography, can detect abnormalities in the breast tissue from two to eight years earlier than other forms of breast testing. Early detection allows valuable time for making lifestyle changes that improve breast health and increase chances of preventing breast cancer. Thermography can confirm or ‘visualize’ these positive changes.

Although genes are a factor in assessing breast cancer risk, genes do not determine health, but rather the expression of them, and that depends on what genes get “turned on and off” by lifestyle choices and emotional states (epigenetic factors). In other words, we have more power over our health than our genes do. So be empowered knowing that positive lifestyle changes and breast screening to ensure healthy activity can reduce the risks of breast cancer.
